Do you want to make a difference in your community or in other countries abroad? If your answer is yes, keep reading!

If you are between 18 and 30 and want to affect change in your own life as well as you are looking for an opportunity to help, we have good news; with the European Solidarity Corps  aka  ESC, you can do it!
Thanks to ESC you can join following activities:
  • volunteering or
  • local Solidarity Projects
Picture
Do not be scared, it is easier than sounds. You can get affect change in a wide range of fields – education and training, citizenship and democratic participation, environment and natural protection, migration, culture etc. or even develop your own games and game related ideas in your local community as we are concerned in YfY.

Through volunteering projects young people are taking part in the daily work of organisations and performing tasks that can have a real impact.  While solidarity projects take place at the local level, it is a group of young people who develop their own project and make them happen benefiting both the local community and themselves, allowing them to pursue their dreams and trying things for real with the support of the European Commission.

Potential projects should address a key challenge in the local community, while reflecting European values. Projects can last 2 to 12 months and require five devoted young participants from the same country.

We consider this opportunity in particular important as it provides additional financial means to further develop some of the ideas developed during the local pilot processes and give additional first hand experience to participants to manage their own projects this time for real. Therefore we arranged online coaching sessions for our coordinators to be able to support such initiatives within and outside of our projects. Stay tuned to hear more about the project ideas developed on national levels or reach out to our partners if you are interested to know more.
