Our story and the logo process

Every story has to start somewhere. It almost doesn’t matter how you start, but it matters with whom you start it. So here is how Youth for Youth tribe came into existence…

A not long time ago the idea of the common European project around youth empowerment through games has germinated in the heads of Hungarian and Polish dreamers. To make this idea come true they sent a call for a joint mission - which brought in organizations of all kinds: schools, NGOs and universities. The tribe was created by unconventional people who like to sing, perform as clowns, create toys out of paper or have magic drawing skills. Some of them are full-time super mums. Together we bring a different piece of skills and knowledge to the table: game-related resources, know-how on inclusion via games, experience in democratic youth engagements. More importantly, we share the same values - we all believe in the power of games therefore we gathered and started to cook something great…

Since we’ve started working together, a lot of things evolved, emerged and blossomed.  Our Kick-Off Meeting became a departing point for our 2 years long journey, where we:

• set the anchor,
• set milestones and planned the best routes to reach our destiny,
• sewed the sail and set our tone and visual identity so we can be seen and heard by other tribes/ sailors/ dreamers,
• looked for the best wind: explored how we can avoid risks and realize the impact,
• started to embark our sailors: according to our youth validation strategy,

If you still do not believe just look at the designing process of our logo to realize It wasn’t a piece of cake, but the final version and creative journey to reach it was inspiring and empowering for our team ;)
